I would like to tell you that YOU and Dr. Graves have been a godsend to ANYONE that receives your guys wisdom and knowledge. I'm glad to be a member for nearly 3 months and Dr. Graves yearly plan.
In short, one of the municipal cities here has the red-light camera tickets that they generate unlawful revenue against it's citizens. I generated 7 civil infractions since 2023. Fines totally over $1,000. So instead of being manipulated by the mailed citation from a third party non judicial company telling us we have to either pay the fine, contest it (which means voluntary waiving jurisdiction), or file an affidavit telling us who the driver was.
I CHOSE to follow your wisdom and knowledge.
I immediately filed a Special Appearance Motion for lack of jurisdiction and said why. After that the court filed an evidentiary hearing etc.. THEN I filed my own affidavit of facts to the officer that views these videos saying the days and times alleged of the violation, where I stated I did not knowingly or that officer knowingly came in contact with him. He never rebutted. I used your form under tickets telling the prosecutor what I need from him as evidence, on how jurisdiction was established. He failed to respond. Then I used the In Limine motion 2 days before the hearing to prevent the prosecutor from admitting evidence. Then the next day the day before trial the prosecutor filed a Motion to Dismiss in all 7 cases. Then at trial, he never showed. I appeared under Special Appearance which the court noted on record and then dismissed all counts….
